This study examined job consciousness of hotel employees. The research was carried out to identify needs and wants that employees had from their work and organization, especially by comparing job consciousness of non-contingent and contingent workers. The analysis of the survey showed that a meaningful variable found in the difference analysis of job consciousness and life as a whole except their job was ‘relationship satisfaction.’ It was also found that non-contingent workers have a higher level of ‘relationship satisfaction’ than contingent workers. Furthermore, in view of the results achieved from the investigation into the correlation between the elements of job consciousness and contingent and non-contingent workers, while the non-contingent workers’ satisfaction with work environment depends on a level of participation in work itself, as for contingent workers, it was found that the attachment to the organization and desires to remain a part of the organization rather than work itself are related to their satisfaction with work environment. It was, also, found that a level of the participation of contingent employees in work is connected to a degree of their enthusiasm for the job or special work fields.
