The objective of this study was to search the factors being considered for selecting the optimal site of special product shop in tourism industry focused on J region and analyze the relative importance among the factors. For achieving the objective, this paper searched the factors (traffic, population, market, site characteristics etc) and calculated the relative importance through the expert survey related to tourism industry. Also this paper executed the difference analysis (t-test) between two groups with the importance of each factor. This study showed that there is no difference between groups with the relative importance of each factor focused on J region. As a result, this study had a distinction from other study in view of DHP analysis and difference analysis. And, the research process of this study can contribute to the optimal decision for site selection as a real situation and future research.
