The purpose of this study is to seek for an opportunity of developing cultural tourism product in the strategic dimension through the general meeting, which is opened every year by WTF(World Taekwondo Federation), while expecting Seoul General Meeting of WTF to be attracted as the birthplace of Taekwondo. As Taekwondo is “Korea's cultural brand” beyond the value simply as sports item, it is “Korea Brand” that was condensed Korea's language & life and Korea's history & philosophy. In conclusion, first, function of convention such as conference・exhibition, second, academic function such as seminar and symposium, third, function of opening conference for reinforcing relationship of continental federation, fourth, function of world peace for integrating WTF・ITF, fifth, efficient function of WTF infrastructure such as Taekwondo Peace Corps and model team, and sixthly, symbolic function of Seoul such as succeeding in holding Olympics・IOC general meeting・ANOC general meeting.
