This study was to examine the effect of glass ceiling on the organizational performance and the moderating effect of different types of Hospitality and tourism companies. The properties of glass-ceiling barriers to the promotion and placement, as well as departments, training and employment, wages, vacation and were separated. Data were collected from 497 employees of three different types of hospitality and tourism companies(i.e., ,five hotels, five travel agencies, and four resorts)on October 2009. According to SPSS, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were used to analysis. Results are as follows. First, glass ceiling has negative effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and positive effect on turnover intention. Second, the glass ceiling in different types of hospitality and tourism companies the impact on the organization there was no significant difference.
