Many researchers have suggested that the understanding of career decision making process can help them resolve the difficulties they encounter during the process. Although the importance of career decision making has been increasing empirical research on the topic has not been widely performed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of psychological factors on career decision making. Using stratified sampling 326 participants' data has been collected. The questionnaire has been used as a survey instrument containing social support, occupational values, career barriers, career maturity, career indecision and demographic variables. For verifying the hypothesis it has been conducted factor analysis, reliability analysis, multi-regression analysis. From the results it is discovered that social support(4 factors), occupational values(2 factors), career barriers(5 factors), career maturity(4 factors) and career indecision(1 factor) consist of their sub-dimensions. And it is found that there is a positive and negative relationships among study constructions. Implications for future study are discussed.
