The purpose of this study has been three-fold on the basis of literature survey. First, to define the concept of the realm for the social enterprise, the cooerative, and the community business which compose the social economy. Second, to understand the status of the tourism in these realms mentioned above through the type of business models. Third, to expand the new business area in the tourism industry hereafter and to raise the basic opinion about the progress of the discussion for the social economy in the tourism science. As the results, firstly, the meaning of the tourism as the public goods is redefined. Secondly, a clue to the reconceiving of the tourism goods and the tourism market is provided. Thirdly, the active participation for the resolution of the social issue is pressed.
