AB - The objective of this study is to analyse the economic impacts and backward․forward linkage impacts of tourism industry through the comparative analysing formultipliers and coefficients in 16 large cities & provinces by 2005 RegionalInput-Output Tables of Bank of Korea(2009). For this, based on the regional I-Otransactions tables of 16 large cities and provinces, tourism multipliers were derivedwith respect to output, income, value-added and employment, and coefficients werederived. The result of the analysis of the tourism multiplier of the 16 large cities andprovinces indicates that the employment multipliers of tourism industries is abovethe mean value of the other industries. And the influence coefficient of overall theHotels was estimated under '1', on the other side, the sensitivity coefficients of theoverall Hotels, Culture & recreation was estimated under '1'.
