The purpose of this study was to determine the elderly’s characteristics and their leisure satisfaction based upon leisure facilities and/or spaces in which they used for their leisure activities. Specific objectives were to classify leisure facilities or spaces by supply and demand side view points, to determine elderly’s characteristics by each leisure facility type, and to test differences of their leisure satisfaction among leisure facility types. Based upon the results, it could be concluded that male elderlies, elderlies who live with their spouses are more likely spend their leisure time in outdoor leisure facilities. Elderlies who reside in local areas are more likely spend their leisure time in indoor leisure facilities. It also could be concluded that elderlies who use indoor leisure facilities for their leisure activities are more likely unsatisfied.
