The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of technology readiness gap by tourists' age and risk perception on their mobile tourism app use intention. Four hypotheses were formulated based on theoretical discussion. First, as the level of individual technology readiness, their mobile tourism app use intention was differed. Second, the perception of positive technology readiness and negative technology readiness was differed from tourists' age. Third, the perception of positive technology readiness is differed from the level of risk and their age. Fourth, the perception of negative technology readiness is differed from the level of risk and their age. Through the verification of the hypotheses, it was revealed that all the hypotheses are supported. On the basis of the results, this study suggested that tourists' technology readiness gap, age and risk perception should be considered when mobile tourism app is developed.
