The purpose of this study is to understand effect on local image and consuming purpose of local product registered with geographical indication system among consumed food materials. Korea-US, Korea-China and Korea-EU Free Trade Agreement affect restaurant and food production agriculture. People are interested than ever before. Entrepreneurs, prep-entrepreneurs, franchise trainees and general consumers in Seoul are targeted. 309 valid samples of the total of 330 questionnaires are used. It is performed by using statistics package IBM SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 18.0. Consequently, economic vitalization factor of geographical indication function, quality awareness and representative functions respectively influence on traditional image, traditional & future image and traditional image. Economic vitalization and eco friendly local image affect purchase intention. As a result, local images representing local product have traditional image because of quality awareness and economic vitalization However, It is not futuristic and eco-friendly. Therefore, local product of geographical indication function represents region. It is required to be active as local representive products by improving advertisement, promotion and quality. For economic vitalization, it needs to plant eco-friendly and future orientation.
