이 논문은 시인을 지망하는 한 문학 동인 집단 구성원들의 시심을 규명하는 것을 목표로 한 케이스 스터디이다. 다양한 질적 방법을 동원하여, 이 집단의 시적 실천들의 의미론을 탐색한 결과, 이들이 추구하는 것은 다음과 같은 세 가지의 중첩된 진정성임을 발견하였다. 첫째, 진정한 시. 이들에게 진정한 시는 소위 문단제도가 형식화하고 가르치고 규범화하는 시적 스타일과 다른 새로운 스타일의 시를 가리킨다. 둘째, 진정한 공동체. 이들에게 진정한 공동체는 자신들의 시적 열망과 관심과 취향을 소통하고 이를 바탕으로 인격적 관계를 유지하는 공동체이다. 셋째, 이들이 열망하는 것의 핵심에는 진정한 자아가 자리 잡고 있다. 진정한 자아는 하나의 꿈으로서, 새로운 것을 창조하는 삶을 사는 자아이며 생존추구적 삶과 대립하는 창조성의 추구로 특징지어진다.
This article is a case study attempting to elucidate the poetic heart which drives the members of a literary coterie to perform their own poetic practices. As a result of this research employing a variety of qualitative methods, I discovered that the poetic heart is constructed by the quest for the following three authenticities: First is the quest for the authentic poetry different from the poetries that are formalized, taught, and normalized by the dominant literary field's institution. Second is the quest for the authentic community that means a social setting composed of would-be poets, letting themselves to communicate more freely and sincerely with each other in terms of their passion and desire for the poetry. Last one is the quest for the authentic self. This self is represented by their imagination under the form of a self dedicated to the creativity with contrast to the survival-seeking life.
