본 연구는 어린이집에서의 시간연장 보육아동과 종일제 보육아동과의 스트레스를 비교하고, 시간연장 보육아동의 연령, 성별, 운영시간, 이용시간에 따라 스트레스 행동에 차이가 있는지를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울에 소재한 5곳의 어린이집을 다니고 있는 시간연장 보육아동 55명과 이들과 성별 및 생년월일이 비슷한 종일제 보육아동 81명, 총 136명의 보육아동을 선정하여 4주간을 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 시간연장 보육아동이 종일제 보육아동보다 스트레스 전체 행동이 유의하게 높게 나타났고, 시간연장 보육아동의 스트레스 행동에도 연령, 운영시간, 이용시간이 유의미한 관계가 있음을 밝혀 내었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 아동의 발달적 측면에서 부모의 역할을 재인식하고, 시간연장 보육시설 확대 실시에 대한 반성적인 재검토에 도움이 될 것이다.


The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences the children's stress behavior between the full day class children and the time extended class children and then to research the differences children's stress behaviors according to the children's age, sex, management hours and extended hours in the time extended care program. The results are as follows: First, there were difference to children's stress behaviors between the full day class children and the time extended class children. The time extended class children were occurred much more than the full day class children. Also There were difference to children' stress behaviors according to subordinate type of stress behaviors. The time extended class children much more than full day class children in the negative stress behaviors and in the active stress behaviors to oneself. Second, there were difference to children's stress behaviors according to the children's age in the time extended care program. The four or under years old were occurred much more than the four, five years old. The boy-children were occurred much more than the girl children in the active stress behaviors to others and the object specially. The time extended class children were under stress at night much more then the morning or the afternoon. Also they were under stress after 2 hours much more than before 2 hours in the active stress behaviors to others and the object specially.
