본 연구는 보육교사에 대한 사회적 지지가 보육교사의 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 그동안 진행된 보육교사의 직무만족에 관한 연구들은 대부분 직무만족을 정의하고 측정하면서 직무에 대한 만족뿐만 아니라 직무외적인 측면인 직무환경에 대한 만족을 포함시키고 있다. 직무만족은 직무환경이 아니라 자신의 직무에 대한 정서 상태라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 서울지역의 보육교사 374명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 조사 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램으로 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 보육교사의 개인적 특성과 직무환경 요인을 통제한 상태에서 보육교사에 대한 사회적 지지가 보육교사의 직무만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 보육교사에 대한 사회적 지지의 영향력이 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of social support on the job satisfaction of early childhood teachers. This study investigated 374 early childhood teachers in Seoul. The dependent variable is their job satisfaction. The independent variable is the social support for them. The control variables are the personal characteristics and job environment of early childhood teachers. The statistical methodologies this study employs are frequency, reliability, correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis. The result of alnalysing shows that socal support affects the job satisfaction of early childhood teachers significantly. And the influence of social support on their job satisfaction is greatest.
