충남 아산 용두천 유역 및 주변지역에서 발견된 청동기시대 주거지(이하 주거지)의 최적 입지환경을 구명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 조사지역의 8개 유적과 4개 지점에서 추출된 총 123기의 주거지들을 대상으로 標高, 傾斜度, 用水河川距離및 用水河床比高를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사지역에서 주거지는 특히 아산 용두리 진터유적(41기), 아산 명암리유적 11지점(21기), 아산 명암리유적 9지점(18기), 아산 백암리 새논들유적(15기)에서 많이 발견되었다. 그리고 조사지역에서 주거지 입지의 최적 입지환경은 표고 53m-66m, 경사도 5.7°0-9.8°, 용수하천거리 1300m-1425m, 용수하상비고 42m-52m인 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 조사지역에서 주거지 입지 선택에 있어서 최우선 순위로 고려되었던 요인은 경사도였으며, 그 다음으로 표고와 용수하천거리가 중요하게 취급되었고 이와 함께 부수적으로 용수하상거리도 고려되었던 것으로 생각된다.


This study was to clarify an optimum location environment of residential area from geographical perspectives for the Bronze Age? dwelling site distributed in Asan Yongdu stream and its surrounding area (hereinafter dwelling site). For it, a gradient, altitude, the shortest distance between the river and dwelling site, and the height above riverbed between the river and dwelling site were analyzed for total 123 dwelling Site extracted from 8 relics where the dwelling site has been confirmed in the investigating area (including 4 districts). The results are followed. Dwelling site were a lot found especially in Asan Yongdu-ri JinTeo relic, Zone 11 of Asan Myeongam-ri reli, Zone 9 of Asan Myeongam-ri relic, Asan Baekam-ri Saenondeul relic. As the optimum environment of dwelling site? location in the investigating area, it was confirmed that the altitude, gradient, the shortest distance between the river and dwelling Site, and the height above riverbed between the river and dwelling Site was 53m-66m, 5.7°0-9.8° 1300m-1425m, and 42m-52m respectively. Also, the gradient was considered the most significantly in selecting the location of residential area in the investigating area. The next important criteria were the elevation and the shortest distance between the river and residential area. Also, the height above riverbed seemed to be additionally considered.
