본 연구는 개발대상지역으로 선정되어 개발 후에는 일정 지역만 경관을 볼 수 있는 백사마을을 대상지역으로 하여 도시 내 쇠퇴지역의 경관을 살펴보고, 기록을 남기는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 기사화된 종합일간지의 ‘백사마을’ 관련 기사를 분석하고, 백사마을 현장을 답사 및 조사하여 해당 경관을 사진자료로 수집하였고, 현장 답사 시 지방자치단체의 담당 공무원과의 면담 및 주민들과 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 백사마을은 중계본동 중 고령화현상이 높고 기초생활수급 대상자들이 많아서 공공근로에 참가하지 않으면 안 될 정도로 지역경제가 어려움이 확인되었다. 둘째, 건물 경관을 지붕·담·대문·안채·마당 등으로 구분하여 살펴보았는데, 정상 상태로 유지되고 있는 건물보다 보수가 필요함에도 방치되었거나 일부만 소극적으로 보수한 경우가 많았다. 셋째, 도로 상태의 경우는 백사마을에서 다른 지역으로 연결해주는 도로만 자동차가 겨우 대면 통행할 정도의 기능을 수행하고 있는 반면에, 마을 안쪽의 도로들은 사람들의 교행이 어렵거나 1명이 겨우 지나갈 정도여서 통행이 불편함이 확인되었다.
The purpose of this research was to keep and examine records of landscape for distressed communities in city with targeted at 104 village areas that could be seen fixed region landscape after developing that had been voted as developing targeted areas. For this research it has been analyzed articles related about ?04 village areas?of synthetic daily newspaper, and collected by photograph data for corresponding landscape after examining and doing field survey about 104 village areas site, and then the researchers conducted interviews with residents and interviews research with officers of local government. The results of this research were as following ; First, it was verified that local economy of 104 village areas would hurt owing to the accelerated aging phenomenon and much recipient of livelihood in Junggyebon-dong that must participated with public labor service project. Second, there were checked the building landscape were composed of roof, wall, gate, the main house and yard partitively, the building had neglected or repaired partially rather than maintained normal state. Finally, it was verified that the road were inconvenient in case of road state, the cars only could been turnouted road connected from 104 village areas to another region, but in case of road for inner town people could not turnouted or only one person could passed by road.
