이 연구의 문제의식은 액체근대 교육이 우리들에게 ‘그림자경쟁’으로 가중하는, ‘가능성의 극한’으로 몰아가는 흐름을 정확히 포착, 통찰하고자 한다. 즉 액체근대 교육은 ‘가능성의 우선선취경쟁’에 가두어져 ‘피로사회’의 고리에 한정하는 커다란 한계를 노정하고 있다. 이는 교육이 지나치게 인간을 사회에 적응하게 하는 ‘적응교육’에만 매몰되는 한계이다. 현재 액체근대 교육은 인간에 사회를 적응시키는 사라진 ‘향유교육’의 지평에 주목해야 할 위기의 시점이다. 액체근대 교육은 우리들을 ‘가능성의 극한’으로 질주하지만, 더 이상 우리들의 비극과 위기 앞에 가동되지 않는 ‘교육의 무능력’을 드리우고 있다. 이는 미래사회의 후속세대들에게 ‘전지구적 주권자’로서 후원하는 향유교육을 사라지게 하는 걸림돌이다. 비극을 공유하는 새로운 교육의 지평은 이질성과 다양성, 미래의 전지구적 주권자로서 자리매김하는 교육의 기저와 방법에 대해 새로운 에피스테메로서 전환해야 할 위기의 절박성을 품고 있다.
The thesis of this study is providing observations and analysis on how the liquid modern education aggravated shadow competition, then toward the extreme culmination of potential. In other words, the liquid modern education only set up limitation of ‘fatigue society’, limiting the students to the first score competition. This in turn emphasizes students to be immersed into ‘Adjustment Education’. At the moment, the liquid modern education has encountered the moment of crisis where we should focus on the new horizon of ‘Enjoyment Education’ which aims to make human accustomed to the society, but this education has long been gone. Modern liquid education drives us to the ‘culmination of potential’, but it only looms the incompetency of education, which is incapable of properly operating when facing tragedy and crisis of the whole era. What is more serious question is that the education ignores the tragedy of one another, degraded to nothing but the ‘avatar of score earning’, abolishing the education system that supports and sponsors ‘global sovereign or subject’ to next generation for the future to come. This new dimension of new education which shares tragedy entails the desperateness of the crisis that necessitates to be transformed into a new episteme toward the foundation and methodology of education so to make students to be the ‘global sovereign or subject’ of the future which embraces all heterogeneity and diversity.
