The Overcoding of the Discourses of the People of National literary theory of Left-wing writers in the Period of Emancipation

본 연구는 해방기 좌익측 문인들의 인민성에 기반한 민족문학론과 이러한 인민성담론의 초코드화 과정을 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 좌익 측의 민족문학론에서 가장 강조하는 것은 문학이 인민성에 기초해야 한다는 것이다. 문학은 인민들의 이념과 사상을 반영해야 하고, 인민들의 삶의 실상을 그려야 하며, 인민들의 민주주의에 복무해야 한다는 것을 강조한다. 인민성은 이들의 민족문학에서 중요한 이념적 가치였다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 민족문학에서의 계급성이라는 문제에서 완전히 자유롭지 못했던 이들은 민족문학과 계급성을 끊임없이 연결시키고자 시도한다. 그 과정에서 인민의 개념으로 민족을 지워버리고, 계급성으로 인민성의 자리를 대체하게 된다. 해방기 당대 광범위한 민족 구성원을 포괄하고자 제기되었던 인민성은 계급성에 의해 초코드화되고, 노동계급의 이념=인민의 이념=민족의 이념이라는 등식을 만들어내면서 민족문학과 계급문학의 경계가 무화되어버리는 결과에 이르게 되었다. 해방기 좌익 측의 인민성에 기반한 민족문학담론은 당대 작품에 대한 비평과정에서도 권력의 중심점으로 작용했다. 민족문학의 인민성 담론은 당대 작품에 대한 지도비평의 성격을 띄면서 인민성에 공명하지 않는 흐름이나 움직임들을 끊임없이 감시하고 절단하는 초코드화의 기표로서 작용했던 것이다.

The object of this paper is to see the overcoding course of the discourses of the people and national literary theories of left-wing writers in the period of emancipation. Left-wing writers emphasized the people's ideology in national literature. but, Left-wing writers were not free from the working classes' ideology. so, they consistently wanted to connect national literary theory and the working classes' ideology. In that course, the discourses of the people were substituted for the working classes' ideology. The working classes' ideology overcoded the peoples' ideology. so, Left-wing writers arrived at the conclusion of the working classes' ideology=the peoples' ideology=national ideology. The boundary of national literature and proletarian literature were removed. The discourses of the people of national literary theory of left-wing writers in the period of emancipation acted as a central pivot of power in criticizing literatures. The discourses of the people of national literary theory illustrated the tendency of leading criticism. And, The discourses of the people of national literary theory acted as the overcoding signifiers against deviatory flowes.
