This study seeks practical reputation recovery for 10·27 Buddhist Persecution victims by analyzing the 10·27 Buddhist Persecution case on a legal basis, and also based on victim reports and reputation-recovery opinion reports. According to the results, reputation recovery methods under the current system proposed by 10·27Buddhist Persecution victims can be realized as follows. First, establishment of a historical memorial can preserve and maintain records of the Persecution, along with individual records of victims, and maintained by a committee. Second, recording the Persecution as unjust and as religious persecution in historical records, along with an official apology from the government through the mass media and correction reports from the mass media, as well as establishment of a residential treatment center for the victims can be realized through official recommendations to appropriate institutions from the Committee for 10·27 Buddhist Persecution Reputation Recovery. Third, victims of the Persecution who require assistive equipment for disabilities.
