The purpose of this paper is to explain process that 17th century noun Clause System is formed through extinction of －오－. Prominent characteristics of the 17th century noun clause were distribution of ‘－옴’ and ‘－음’. This is closely related to the extinction of ‘－오－’ which was involved in noun clause structure during previous period. That is, weakening of noun clause compositions of ‘－옴, －음’ die to the extinction of ‘－오－’ had brought several changes in noun clause structure such as ‘contraction of －ㅁ noun clause’, ‘activation of -기 noun clause’. That is, the extinction of ‘－오－’ had brought changes in noun clause system and through courses of these changes, noun clause system was formulated.
