This study aims to explore and analyze how to implement a movie into EFL classrooms. With this purpose, a movie titled The Bridges of Madison County was examined from a variety of perspectives. A total of five scenes were selected that involved various factors in terms of English education. These scenes were analyzed in terms of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural aspects. Based on the analysis, English lessons have been implemented for a total of five weeks to 22 graduate students consisting of mostly elementary school teachers. The students also had a chance to analyze the given scripts for themselves. Gom Player was utilized in the classroom and diverse related materials were presented to the learners. Google Earth was used in order to explain the locations and places with regards to the foreign culture, which attracted the learners’ attention and played a role in enhancing their motivation. The results of the survey conducted after the lessons showed that the students had a positive attitude toward the lessons and they had an intention to utilize movies in their own English classrooms in the future. Based on the findings of the study, several implications and applications are discussed.
