본 연구의 목적은 확장된 Manning 모형을 기반으로 하여 관람객의 참가만족에 영향을 미치는 혼잡지각과 방문동기의 관계를 구조적 분석을 통해 연구변수간의 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 나아가 혼잡지각의 연구에 개인적 특성요인으로 방문동기를 연구모형에 포함하여 연구하였다. 연구대상으로는 천안흥타령춤축제를 방문한 관람객을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였으며, 수집된 자료는 Spss 20.0과 Amos 20.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적요인분석, 확인적 요인분석과 2차 확인적 요인분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 방문동기가 인적혼잡과 참가만족간의 관계와 인적혼잡지각과 대응행동간의 관계는 유의한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났지만, 인적혼잡지각과 참가만족, 대응행동과 참가만족간의 관계는 통계적으로 유의하지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 혼잡지각의 Manning 모형을 문화관광축제에 적용하여 혼잡지각에 관한 연구범위를 확장하였고 기존의 혼잡지각에 연구변수도 인적혼잡지각으로 확장시켜 연구를 진행하였다.


This study is intended to closely examine the relationship between research variables through structured analysisregarding relationship between visit motivation and crowding perception that has an influence on visitor'sparticipation satisfaction on the basis of extended Manning model. Furthermore, a study on crowding perception wascarried out with visit motivation included as personal characteristic factor in the study model. With regard to thesubjects of study, a study on visitors at Cheonan World Dance Festival was carried out. The frequency analysis,exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and second-order confirmatory factor analysis of collecteddata was made, by utilizing Spss 20.0 and Amos 20.0. According to the results of study, it was shown thatrelationship among visit motivation, human crowding and participation satisfaction, and relationship between theperception of human crowding and coping behavior was significant influence relationship. However, an analysisshowed that relationship between the perception of human crowding and participation satisfaction and relationbetween coping behavior and participation satisfaction was not statistically significant one. This study was carriedout with extending the scope of study on crowding perception by applying the Manning model of crowdingperception to cultural tourism festival, and extending conventional research variables of crowding perception to theperception of human crowding.
