이 연구의 목적은 내국인의 해외여행 지출결정요인을 추정하는데 있다. 2013년 통계청의 소비자 지출조사 자료를 이용하여 Tobit 모형을 분석에 적용하였다. 지출결정요인을 효과적으로 설명하기 위해 인구통계학적 특성변수를 포함하여 가구의 특성을 독립변수로 적용하였다. 분석결과에 의하면, 결혼유무, 직업, 연령, 소득, 주택소유여부변수가 해외여행지출에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 궁극적으로 이러한 조사결과는 국내관광과해외여행에 대한 정책설립과 마케팅전략을 개발하는데 유용한 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the expenditure determinants for overseas travel. The author used theConsumer Expenditure Survey of National Statistical Office and applied Tobit model. To explain the determinants ofexpenditures effectively, independent variables including socioeconomic characteristics, household's characteristicswere taken into account. According to the results, marital status, occupation, age, income, home ownership variableswere positive effects. Ultimately, the survey will be used as an information database to develop a marketing strategyand establish policy for overseas travel and domestic tourism.
