이 연구에서는 하이델베르크 요리문답의 국내외 8개 판본들에서 동시에 인용한 성경구절들의 유사도를 분석해서 판본들에 차이를 찾아내고, 이러한 차이가 발생한 이유를 밝히며 유사한 판본들을 군집화 하는 데 목적이 있다고 하겠다. 연구 방법은 각 판본에서 인용한 성경구절을 한 구절씩 분리시켜서 비교하였으며, 각 판본에서 인용한 성경구절의 신구약성경의 분포를 먼저 조사하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 유사도를 계산하였다. 유사도는 하이델베르크 요리문답 전체와 3부로 구성된 부별로, 8개의 하위 주제별로 나누어서 분석하였으며, 최종적으로는 유사도 분석 결과를 시각화하고 각 판본들을 군집화 하였다. 전체 분석결과에서는 레위기와 인용구절 수가 각 판본의 차이를 결정한 것으로 보이며, 부별 분석에서는 십계명과 주기도와 같은 표준적인 신앙 내용이 포함된 부분의 유사도가 높았으며, 주제별 분석에서는 중보자 주제의 유사도에서 차이를 보였다. 결론적으로 김병훈과 독립개신교회 판본, 신헌재와 북미개혁교회 판본, 김홍만과 북미장로교회 판본이 각각 유사하였으며, 황대우와 독일어 판본은 6개 판본과 차이를 보였다.
This study aimed at finding similarities and differences of the 8 Heidelberg Catechism versions by analyzing co-cited biblical phrases and explaining the reasons and clustering the similar versions. This study was carried out by comparing each biblical phrase separatedly and analyzing the distribution of cited biblical phrases of each version and by using this result, calculating similarities between the versions. This study calculated each similarity of the whole catechism and the three parts of the catechism and 8 subjects, and finally visualized the results and clustered the versions. In the analysis of the whole, the biblical phrases of Leviticus and the number of the cited biblical phrases seemed to cause the differences between the versions and in the analysis of the three parts, historical document and the contents in the Bible like the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer have high similarity, and in the 8 subjects analysis, the subject of ‘mediator’ has low similarity. In conclusion, Kim Byoung Hoon and Independent Reformed Church versions are almost same, and Shin Hun Jae and Canadian Reformed Church versions are very similar, Kim Hong Man and Christian Reformed Church versions are very similar and Whang Dae Woo and German version are different from the 6 versions.
