본 연구는 초등학교 통합학급에서 전래놀이 활동이 장애아동에 대한 비장애아동의 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 밝히고자 하였다. 3학년 통합학급 2학급을 선정하여 전래놀이 활동을 적용하는 집단을 실험집단으로, 일반 체육교육과정을 시행하는 집단을 통제집단으로 하여 중재한 후 인지적, 감정적, 행동적 태도 척도를 사용하여 사전-사후 검사를 하였다. 연구결과 실험집단 비장애아동의 장애아동에 대한 전반적인 태도가 긍정적으로 상승하였고, 하위 영역별로 인지적, 감정적 태도와 행동적 태도의 개인생활, 학교생활 영역에서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 행동적 태도의 사회생활 영역에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 연구결과에 대한 논의와 후속연구를 위한 제언들을 제시하였다.


The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Korean traditional play activities on attitudes of children without disabilities toward children with disabilities. The subjects were two general education classes of 3rd grade and each class had one child with disabilities. The one class was assigned to an experimental group and the other class was designated as a control group. The experimental group was provided with Korean traditional play activities during their physical education time. Meanwhile, the control group participated in their regular physical education curriculum. The intervention was conducted twice a week(50minutes per session) for 5 weeks. Instruments used for pre-test and post-test were adjective scale for measuring cognitive attitudes, affective attitude scale, and activity-preference scale. The differences between pre-tests and post-tests of two groups were analyzed by using an analysis of covariance. Results showed that there were statistically significant differences between two groups in the changes of cognitive, affective, and behavioral attitudes. However, no significant differences were found in the social life area of behavioral attitudes. In conclusion, Korean traditional paly activities were effective in improving on attitudes of children without disabilities toward children with disabilities. Implications for research and practice were discussed.
